Palm Desert and Riverside County, CA

Located in Riverside County, California, the City of Palm Desert is centered in the heart of the Coachella Valley and is known as the cultural and retail center of the desert communities. In addition, Palm Desert has become the region’s education center, with four college campuses and a heavy investment in new public schools.  A popular retreat for "snowbirds" from colder climates, Palm Desert has seen more residents become "full-timers", who migrated for both affordable and high-valued home prices.

The climate in Palm Desert is influenced by the surrounding geography. High mountain ranges on three sides and a south-sloping valley floor all contribute to its unique and year-round warm climate. Palm Desert has an arid climate: Its average annual high temperature is 89 °F and average annual low is 62 °F.

Both Los Angeles and San Diego are only two hours away.
